Syllabus
The Practical Data Publication workshop introduces the IntCDC-specific research data management workflows hands-on.

After two hours, you will be able to:
• select an appropriate storage location for your new data
• effectively enrich newly generated or collected data with suitable metadata
• use this metadata to document your data in the data management plan of your research project
• use this metadata to publish your dataset in accordance to the FAIR principles on the Data Repository of the University of Stuttgart (DaRUS) as an example.

All processes are approached practically. Therefore, it is recommended to bring your own laptop and have access to your own data set to which the processes can be applied directly. The only requirement for the laptop is to be able to connect to the eduroam WiFi. Details for additional preparatory tasks will be announced to all participants before the workshop.

The workshop is supplemented by regular office hours for individual support, which allows specific questions to be solved and discussed even after the workshop.
