Das Modul besteht aus den Vorlesungen in Simulation 1 und 2 und den Übungen zu Teil 1 der Vorlesung. Werden auch die Übungen zu Teil 2 der Vorlesung gehört, dann können diese für das Modul Advanced Simulation Methods in Physics anerkannt werden.

Simulation Methods in Physics: Eligible as semicompulsory module in the international M.Sc. Physics program
Two-semester module in the WiSe2023/24 and SoSe2024

Language: English This module consists of the lectures in Simulation 1 and 2 and the exercises for Part 1 of the lecture.
If the exercises for Part 2 of the lecture are also completed, they can be credited for the module Advanced Simulation Methods in Physics.
Advanced Simulation Methods in Physics

Das Modul kann gewählt werden, wenn man im Bachelor Studium bereits das Modul Simulation Methods in Physics absolviert hat.

Vor Beginn des WiSe 23/ 24: “ESPResSo Summer School ” (2 SWS)
1 Woche Block (09.-13.10. 2023)
im nächsten Jahr: 07.-11.10. 2024
Im SoSe24: Übung “Simulation Methods in Practice” (Übungen zu Simulation Methods 2)
und Vorlesung: Advanced Simulation Methods

Wahlmodul Schwerpunkt mit Vertiefungsvorlesung bitte absprechen mit Prof. Holm. Es darf sich nicht um eine Vorlesung handeln, die Ihnen schon innerhalb eines anderen Moduls anerkannt worden ist.

Advanced Simulation Methods in Physics

This module can be chosen if you have already completed the Simulation Methods in Physics module of the Bachelor's program.
Structure of the module: Before the winter semester 2023/24: "ESPResSo Summer School" (2 semester hours) 1-week block (October 9-13, 2023) Next year: October 7-11, 2024
In the summer semester 2024: "Simulation Methods in Practice" exercises (Exercises for Simulation Methods 2) and the lecture: Advanced Simulation Methods
