Hello and welcome to a short tutorial.
This video is one of four videos that introduce you to the most important platforms used at the University of Stuttgart.
This video is about ILIAS, our central learning platform.
You get to ILIAS by entering ilias.uni-stuttgart.dein your browser.
After clicking on "Anmelden" in the upper right corner, a new login window appears.
There, you log in with your short username (consisting of st and the number assigned to you) and your password.
Afterwards, click on "Anmelden".
What is ILIAS used for?
On ILIAS, you will find all learning materials for your lectures (e.g. videos, lecture notes, and exercises).
Lecturers also announce dates for their office hours, links to Webex meetings, and organizational matters on ILIAS.
Some lecturers also use ILIAS in live events, for example for live votings and for cooperative working via shared documents and forums.
All courses you have signed up for on Campus will automatically appear on your "personal desk".
In the left column, you can find the system messages which inform you about your course enrollment, for example. You will also receive this information via ILIAS mail.
On the right side, you may see the news. You can check there whether something has changed in your courses, for example if new files have been added.
In case of any questions and problems, you can find our support addresses and links to further videos in the video description.
